Does BookIt sell direct to the Public?
No, all processing through our network originates as a referral from our agents.
 
How does BookIt make money?
BookIt charges a minimal booking fee per booking. This includes all associated costs including merchant and bank fees.

 
How is BookIt installed?
Access to the BookIt system is completely web based. This means that suppliers and agents are able to get onto the BookIt network very easily. When you sign up to BookIt, our operations team will create a secure user account for your business. We will load your initial products and rates into the system. Are my customers redirected off to a booking portal system?

If a message is not successfully delivered within a specified time frame, the BookIt operations team is notified and measures are taken to guarantee the communication is made. A full audit trail of messages related to bookings is kept and can be reviewed easily by suppliers, agents and customers!

BookIt's technology system allows suppliers and agents alike to define the cancellation policies for their product. This includes options for loss of a percentage of the booking, loss of a fixed amount, loss of deposit etc, and the option to apply these different cancellation policies depending on how close to the service date the cancellation or amendment is made.

BookIt's cancellation and amendment system facilitates a negotiation process for customers, and allows suppliers or agents to override a cancellation or amendment fee in special circumstances.

 
Who pays for the bank transaction fees for taking online payments from customers?
